He was smiling at his Aunt Holly today in Orlando, Holly and Justin had their first wedding shower and last friday was her Birthday, so we went and spent the day with her, I miss her so much...but i know she is happy, and that makes it easier on me. Well time to go to bed...sweet dreams...

Dedication

One of the Sweetest Days in my life, Loren and Josh dedicated Mason today and he had three sets of grandparents there and we all got to place our hands on him as the Bro Rodney prayed over Mason. During the prayer I looked up at Mason to see that a tear had fallen from his precious mama's face and onto Mason's little forehead ...I will never forget that moment...I hope God has Big plans for Mason.

My Little Angel

I have been playing with my photoshop program, I bought "photoshop for dummies" so i have been experimenting with it and having alot of fun, I have so much to learn... MY Antique Flower Garden

This is my family they are the oldest of us so i thought this title was perfect because they are so special and they are all together, Where does the time go? It seems like Yesterday. I entered this one in a sketch challenge on Inspire Me, I have never done this before but I thought I would give it a try. The Challenge was fun and it motivates me. All the papers in this page were from the Webster Paper Line.

ME

Why is it so hard to do a layout of yourself?, In our Monday night book club, the theme is to do layouts of ourselves (then and now) this is my then, seems like yesterday. I have to tell ya... it was a lot of fun seeing everyones photos of when they were little!. Then everyone started to look for papers that would tell their story, the time just flies when I'm there (Scrappy Papers).

Well, I had a good time with this LO. I am trying some new techniques I found on the internet and thought I would give it a try. On the background page I used a water color technique on cardstock. i also stamped on some cardstock, cut it out and used it for some imbellishments(i hope i spelled that right) all the other paper is from the Websters paper line. The flowers are from Prima. My girls are definitely my inspiration. I haven't been able to do alot of scrabooking lately because we (my husband and I ) sell and repair boats for a living and this is a busy time of the year for us ( he keeps me hopping). Where does the time go?

My Sunflower

This is my oldest daughter Loren featured in this photo and Holly my youngest daughter with her blonde hair. This photo was taken after they had sang at a local talent contest and won!,
It was a very exciting day for us all. Seems like yesterday. I really enjoyed working with the colors in this LO, reminds me of Fall. This is my project for our Book Club, the idea this month was to use masking in our LO's, so i cut out this sunflower and copied it in black and white and enlarged it, cut it out again and used it to do my masking all over my page. when i was done i decided to use the Sunflower on the page.

Enchanting

This is pictures i took of Holly in 2004 for her prom, she always had a theme for each prom and this year it was the 1940's. Looking at these pictures i can't believe thats my daughter, it really does look like it was taken along time ago. My friend Lucy introduced me to these Graphic 45 papers, and they were just what i was looking for.

My Daughter (Loren) sings in a Southern Gospel Group called Delivered with a couple Glen and Tracy, this is their little boy, he is usually very shy in front of strangers but this day he took us totally by surprise, he had been listening to them practice and he picked up on the words of this song and decided he wanted to sing with them this day at a sing in Arcadia, Florida ...when now have a new member to the group!

Because He Lives

These photos were taken on Easter Day, that is my church in the background, we were just missing my youngest daughter Holly she wasn't able to get off work to visit, the day was beautiful though, but holidays are just not the same without the whole family there. These Colors were so fun to play with , I stamped and drew the flowers on the left, and i wish you could see the glitter on the blue flowers. This one was fun....

The Lady Can Cook

There is nothing Semi-Homemade about my mom. The Lady Can Cook apron came from Paul Deen's Restaurant in Savannah Ga. It looks cool in the LO...don't cha think...

Dreamy

Would you just look at the way my mom is looking at my dad, after 46 years she still loves him more than ever...but i think the look has changed a little... can you tell i love these colors, i'm still trying to get familiar (is that how you spell that?) with all the different companies...so i will be posting where i have gotten all these beautiful things from....
I'm new at this blog stuff... but i'm learning and having a blast!

Everlasting

My parents on their wedding day...i just love looking at these old pictures, the two photos at the bottom ...well, that is my brother from another mother...and he wasn't to happy that his dad was getting married again, but he got over it and all is well...and it has been 46 years ! ( where has the time gone?).

My Mothers Wedding Day

This is a snapshot of my mother on her wedding day, they couldn't afford a wedding much less a photographer.... so i had about 8 photos to work with and i made her a wedding album, the blue in the page is the same color of her dress....
