MY Antique Flower Garden

This is my family they are the oldest of us so i thought this title was perfect because they are so special and they are all together, Where does the time go? It seems like Yesterday. I entered this one in a sketch challenge on Inspire Me, I have never done this before but I thought I would give it a try. The Challenge was fun and it motivates me. All the papers in this page were from the Webster Paper Line.

ME

Why is it so hard to do a layout of yourself?, In our Monday night book club, the theme is to do layouts of ourselves (then and now) this is my then, seems like yesterday. I have to tell ya... it was a lot of fun seeing everyones photos of when they were little!. Then everyone started to look for papers that would tell their story, the time just flies when I'm there (Scrappy Papers).

Well, I had a good time with this LO. I am trying some new techniques I found on the internet and thought I would give it a try. On the background page I used a water color technique on cardstock. i also stamped on some cardstock, cut it out and used it for some imbellishments(i hope i spelled that right) all the other paper is from the Websters paper line. The flowers are from Prima. My girls are definitely my inspiration. I haven't been able to do alot of scrabooking lately because we (my husband and I ) sell and repair boats for a living and this is a busy time of the year for us ( he keeps me hopping). Where does the time go?

My Sunflower

This is my oldest daughter Loren featured in this photo and Holly my youngest daughter with her blonde hair. This photo was taken after they had sang at a local talent contest and won!,
It was a very exciting day for us all. Seems like yesterday. I really enjoyed working with the colors in this LO, reminds me of Fall. This is my project for our Book Club, the idea this month was to use masking in our LO's, so i cut out this sunflower and copied it in black and white and enlarged it, cut it out again and used it to do my masking all over my page. when i was done i decided to use the Sunflower on the page.
